Okay, here's my question: Ive tried so many cloth diapers, to end up where we started, loving Bum Genius os. No other diaper absorbed so much, and didnt leak. The not-leaking is crucial. I attribute that to the cover design. Are these new diapers from Cotton Babies made with the same cover design, leg elastic, etc? Then Im sold! Because with a second baby on the way, I want some diapers that I dont have to stuff in the rotation, that actually work. So the Econobum or the new Flip sound like good options.

Reviewed by Kristin on Tuesday 03 November, 2009I have had my full kit for over a week now. All in all I think this is a great buy for the price. Having said that, i don't love the prefolds. I can't seem to snappi them. It seems like they are meant to simply be folded in the middle which I don't think works well in keeping in the mess. I do like the covers a lot - especially the fact that they are one size. If possible I would rather buy the covers and use a more standard prefold.

Reviewed by Alicia on Saturday 07 November, 2009I am a cloth diaper junkie- I have tried everything and when they released these, I had to try them! So far- I love them! I love the fact that you can buy an entire system for just under $100 (if you were to buy 2 sets). If you were wanting to do a similar low budget system of proraps and prefolds- you would need to buy the same amount of covers in each size which then would add up to over $250. If someone truly is on a tight budget- this is the system to buy as it will be everything you will need. HOWEVER, you get what you pay for- and these can not be compared with the Flip, one-size, organics or all in ones- you are going to be paying more for having a higher quality product. These do not compare. This is a stand-alone product that I applaud Cottonbabies for creating to better serve families with small budgets. My 18month old chunker has been wearing them the last 4 days and so far, I have no complaints. No leaks, no blowouts, no rubbing. They aren't a trim as the regular BG's- but they work. And if I was giving them a rating based on pricing and performance- I give them 10 stars!

Reviewed by Angie on Wednesday 18 November, 2009i love these diapers! love them! the covers are super. they are leak free and fit like a dream. and the prefolds are so absorbant that they seem to keep my son's skin nice and dry. others have commented that the prefolds are too bulky and i disagree. i think they are fine! i am very happy with my purchase and will be getting one more kit to complete our diaper stash!
